Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

This website is operated by B Venues Ltd, trading as “The Bank” (“The Bank”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
We are a company registered in England and Wales (Company No.  16782087) with our registered office at Suite 3, Exhibition House, Addison Bridge Place, London, W14 8XP.

For all matters relating to personal data, the data controller is B Venues Ltd trading as The Bank.

2. What This Policy Covers

Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains:

  • What personal data we collect from you,
  • Why and how we use it,
  • The lawful grounds we rely on, and
  • Your rights under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

By visiting our site, joining as a member, or sharing your details with us, you acknowledge this Policy and the practices described here.

3. Personal Data We Collect

We collect different types of personal information depending on how you interact with us:

  • Membership applications: your name, address, email, phone number, business details, gender, date of birth, country, profile photo, and supporting information you choose to share.
  • Reservations: your contact details, billing and payment information, plus any notes you add about your booking.
  • Other interactions: details you provide when corresponding with us by phone or email, completing surveys, attending events, or visiting the club.
  • CCTV & venue technologies: we use CCTV for safety and compliance. Wi-Fi login data (e.g., device ID, connection times) may also be processed for security and network performance.

4. Information Collected Automatically

  • Log data: when you browse our site, our servers record technical details such as your IP address, browser type, and the time/date of access.
  • Cookies & similar tools: used to run the site smoothly, remember preferences, and improve performance. For more details, please see our [Cookie Policy].

5. How We Use Your Personal Data

We use your data to:

  • Manage membership: review and process applications, administer accounts, provide member services.
  • Handle reservations: confirm bookings, process payments, send confirmations, pre-arrival messages, or event details.
  • Communicate: run surveys, respond to enquiries, and send updates you’ve asked for.
  • Marketing: with your consent, share information about our events, services, and offers. You can withdraw consent at any time.

We also rely on legitimate interests to:

  • Protect the safety and security of our members and venue (CCTV, Wi-Fi logs).
  • Analyse usage to refine our services and personalise communications.
  • Send you relevant postal updates.
  • Maintain internal records and suppression lists to respect your opt-outs.
  • Share data with trusted affiliates for administration, membership services, and marketing support.
  • Anonymise and aggregate data for internal reporting and research.
  • Comply with legal obligations, licensing, or law enforcement requests.

Our lawful bases are: performance of a contract, consent, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests.

6. Disclosure of Your Data

We may share your information with:

  • Service providers: trusted partners for hosting, payments, bookings, CRM, analytics, or IT support — bound by confidentiality and security obligations.
  • Business transfers: if our business is sold or merged, data may transfer as part of that transaction.
  • Legal obligations: regulators, courts, or authorities when required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Where you book via a third-party platform, that provider is an independent controller — please review their privacy notice too.

7. International Transfers

If we transfer your personal data outside the UK/EEA, we ensure it is safeguarded (e.g., UK Addendum, Standard Contractual Clauses, transfer risk assessments). Details are available on request.

8. Payment Information

Payments are processed through PCI-DSS-compliant providers. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
Where you agree, card details may be held securely to make future transactions easier. You can opt out at any time, though you’ll need to re-enter details for purchases.

9. Security

We take data security seriously. While no system is ever 100% secure, we use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

10. Data Retention

We keep your personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described here, or as required by law. For example:

  • Membership records: usually one year after membership ends.
  • Reservation/website data: typically one year after last contact.
  • CCTV: usually 30–60 days, unless retained for an incident.
  • Wi-Fi logs: typically up to 12 months.

Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. We may anonymise information for longer retention.

11. Children’s Data

Our services are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under 16. If we learn we have, we will delete it unless law requires otherwise.

12. Your Rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Request corrections.
  • Request deletion (where applicable).
  • Restrict our processing.
  • Receive your data in portable form.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests or for marketing.
